Community Urgent Eye Care Service

A Community Urgent Eye Care Service (CUES) has been commissioned by the NHS with Primary Eyecare Norfolk & Waveney Ltd for the assessment and treatment for the following conditions.

Red or painful eyes

Dry or gritty uncomfortable eyes

Irritation and inflammation of the eye

Recent, significant, sticky discharge from the eye(s)

Recently occurring flashes or floaters

Ingrowing eyelashes

Recent and sudden loss of vision (partial or total) to one or both eyes

Foreign body in the eye

The Community Minor Eye Conditions Service is available for patients registered with a Norfolk and Waveney ICB GP.1

Always call first – this is not a walk-in service.
